It’s time to get back to the beach with the Decatur Beach Party! Enjoy 60 tons of sand on “Ponce de Leon Fun Pier” and dancing on the Marta Plaza! Join us for the Decatur Business Association’s fundraising event, Decatur Beach Party, on Friday, June 17. Thanks to you, we will be able to continue to provide the many free events in Decatur, including Concerts on the Square, Blue Sky Concerts, 4th of July Fireworks, Holiday Bonfire & Marshmallow Roast, and the Easter Egg Hunt.
Volunteers receive free admission to the Decatur Beach Party! There are volunteer opportunities available to fit every schedule. Beat the heat and come early for set up! Set up starts in the morning and runs throughout the day. Evening volunteer opportunities abound at the Children’s Boardwalk Games, Teen/Tween activity area, Entry Gates and more. Set Up, Children’s Boardwalk, and Entry Gates are all wonderful group volunteer opportunities. Organizations that provide at least 25 volunteers will have their name listed on a sign on the Boardwalk. You may also sign up individually to volunteer.
