Join the Decatur Fire Department to support their new initiative of a continuous food collection drive.

When you head to any of our events in Decatur, please bring a packaged food donation with you (peanut butter, cereal, pasta, rice, beans, canned fruits and vegetables, canned meats and tuna, etc.) Please donate items low in sugar, sodium and fat whenever possible.  Personal care products are also appreciated, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, bath soap, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet tissue, and paper towels (go to http://www.decaturga.com/fire for more information). You can also drop off your donation at Fire Station #1 on Trinity Place (when it reopens) or Fire Station #2 in Oakhurst any time throughout the year. Donations to the Fire Department Food Drive will be donated to the Food Banks at Decatur Cooperative Ministry and Decatur-Area Emergency Assistance Ministry (DEAM).
