Decatur Courthouse Square (part of Concerts on the Square)
This free, family-oriented, outdoor festival features a tasting area of local and organic food and beverages, live music, local beer, a kids’ zone, artists specializing in recycled materials, and products/information from 60 different eco-friendly and fair-trade vendors and environmental groups. Dogwood Alliance staff will take center stage as hosts and lead environmental presenters. Two exciting new features this year include two solar & wind-powered stages from Tree Leaf Music and the release of Terrapin Beer’s Tree Hugger Altbier, a limited edition brew to support Dogwood Alliance and Decatur Green Fest.
